7:30pm King’s Theatre, Live Music. $40 Adults, $10 Youth. The “Gypsy” Fleetwood Mac experience is a truly authentic representation of this multiple award-winning group’s very best songs of all time, including Stevie Nicks duets with Don Henley and Tom Petty. Their spectacular show repertoire includes; “Dreams, Go your Own Way, Rhiannon, Don’t Stop, The Chain,” and many more fan favourites.

Wed Jul 10 Where Olive Trees Weep

7:30pm Kings Theatre Documentary Drama Film $10.95 Adult $6.95 Youth. Where Olive Trees Weep offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice.

Fri Jul 12 The Birdcage

7:30pm Free. King’s Theatre, Film, PG, Comedy. In this remake of the classic French farce “La Cage aux Folles,” engaged couple Val Goldman (Dan Futterman) and Barbara Keeley (Calista Flockhart) shakily introduce their future in-laws. Val’s father, Armand (Robin Williams), a gay Miami drag club owner, pretends to be straight and attempts to hide his relationship with Albert (Nathan Lane), his life partner and the club’s flamboyant star attraction, so as to please Barbara’s father, controversial Republican Sen. Kevin Keeley (Gene Hackman).

Sat Sept 7 Garrett Mason

7:30pm King’s Theatre Live Music. Adults $30 Youth $10. The son of Canadian bluesman Dutch Mason, Garrett’s quest to become a blues musician started at a very early age. Having received a JUNO award and a Maple Blues award for his earlier work with trios, Garrett is heralded as one of our nation’s most gifted blues guitarists and is currently touring as a solo act.


Fri Sept 13 Help! The Beatles Revisited

7:30pm King’s Theatre. Music. Adults $45. Youth $20. The fab four members of HELP! pay close attention to detail; the tone of the voices, stunning three-part harmonies, the exact guitar, drum, keyboard and left-handed bass parts, the custom tailored grey and black suits, the Sgt-Pepper and Abbey Road outfits, the hair, the instruments – It all has to look and sound as Beatle-like as possible.


Thur Sep 19 Science Club

3-4pm Digby Library Explore the wonders of science through exciting, themed experiments. This program is for children aged 7 to 11. Register no later than the Tuesday before by contacting the library.


Sat Sep 21 Jason Cyrus – Live!

7:30pm King’s Theatre. Hypnosis. Live performance. Ages 8 and up. Adults $35. Youth $15. Not only are Jason’s shows filled with fun, high energy and non-stop entertainment but Jason demonstrates his unique ability to inspire and educate his volunteers and audiences, leaving them captivated, charged up and wanting more. Expect nothing less than sensational when you watch Jason in action!


Wed Sep 25 Book Club

6:30-8pm Digby Library. Join Colleen Humbert for lively and in-depth discussions of the contemporary western True Grit by Charles Portis. Register by Sept. 11 to reserve your spot and receive the books. This program is for adults.


Sat Sept 28 Lucy MacNeil

7:30pm King’s Theatre. Live Music. $35 Adults. $5 Youth. Lucy MacNeil returns to King’s Theatre with her trio for an intimate show that takes you into the heart of Cape Breton. Lucy has been performing with the Barra MacNeils for 35 years. They come from a long tradition of Cape Breton music and dance that has been the foundation of creative pursuits over their musical career.

  • Games Galore Fridays (from Fri Sep 20) 2:30-4:30pm Digby Library Bring a friend or come and make new ones as we play board and card games. Drop in between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. This program is for all ages.

  • Fall Story Time Fridays (from Fri Sep 27 ) 10:30-11am Digby Library. Children 5 and younger and their caregivers can enjoy stories and other activities.
