6 p.m. to Thursday, Aug. 15, 12 p.m. Digby Library Bring your stuffed animal to the library for a sleepover with other stuffies. They’ll play games, tell stories, and have lots of fun making new friends! Drop off your stuffy by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and pick up your stuffy after 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Wed Aug 14 Sound of Hope

  • Wanderer Wednesday at Digby Pines Members of L’sitkuk (Bear River First Nation) have started the construction of a community canoe at the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa. On scheduled days, there will be Elders, a fluent language Mentor, and Rose Meuse will be present.

  • English Conversation Circle with YREACH at Digby Library. Tuesdays, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27, 3 to 5 p.m. Join Lara Campbell from YREACH to practice speaking English in a casual and stress-free environment. This program has an adult focus but is for all ages. YREACH is a program of the YMCA, providing information, orientation and settlement support to immigrants and foreign workers and their families
