10:30 – 1:30 pm King’s Theatre, Annapolis Royal. The workshop will focus on creating a strong, supple, confident public speaking voice. We will start with the vocal basics: breathing, support, building vocal strength and creating a relaxed, stress-free sound that will let you be heard without harming your voice. Jamie will also have tips on how to stay relaxed and calm when speaking in front of people, and we will discuss vocal self-care to keep your voice strong and healthy.
For teachers, preachers, screechers, screamers, schemers, dreamers and anyone else who wants to stand and speak to a group. This workshop is appropriate for ages 12 – 112. Please bring your own snacks and beverages, and clean footwear for the stage. Adults: $25. Youth: $15
